College Hosts Black Achievers Club

Thirty-five students from the Martha Lane Collins High School Black Achievers Club visited the College of Justice & Safety on Tuesday, December 9 to meet with faculty and students, tour classrooms and labs in the Stratton Building as well as the Ashland Building and the Occupational Safety Lab. 

Kraska Invited to High Profile Senate Committee Hearing

Dr. Peter Kraska has been invited to share his extensive and long-running research conducted at Eastern Kentucky University on the militarization of civilian police in the United States at a U.S. Senate hearing in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, September 9, 2014. 

Spring 2015 Commencement

Nearly 700 graduates of Eastern Kentucky University’s College of Justice & Safety were recognized at commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 16, 2015.

EKU Criminal Justice Honor Society Garners Awards at Annual Conference

The EKU Epsilon Chapter of the Alpha Phi Sigma Criminal Justice Honor Society returned to Richmond, KY from its annual conference in Orlando, FL with a record seven awards. These awards include:

·         First place national award for “Best Alpha Phi Sigma Chapter Website.”
