Book by Soderstrom and Blevins Published
School of Justice Studies professor Dr. Irina Soderstrom and associate professor Dr. Kristie Blevins have written a “user-friendly statistics and data analysis text” that was recently published by Waveland Press.
Introductory Criminal Justice Statistics and Data Analysis, 2nd Edition contains “updated material and the successful teaching and research experiences of the lead author (Soderstrom) and new coauthor, Kristie Blevins.”

Dr. Irina R. Soderstrom received her B.A. in sociology/pre-law at the University of Illinois, Urbana- Champaign in 1987. She received her M.S. in administration of justice in 1990 and her Ph.D. in educational psychology/statistics and measurement in 1997 from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
Dr. Blevins received her Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati. Her research interests include corrections, the occupational reactions of criminal justice employees, and crime prevention.
