Spring 2015 Commencement

Nearly 700 graduates of Eastern Kentucky University’s College of Justice & Safety were recognized at commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 16, 2015.

Dean Allen Ault announced “we are recognizing 507 bachelor’s degrees, 162 master’s degrees and 23 associate degrees for a total of 692 degrees.”

Joseph “JP” Fisher addressed the class of 2015 on behalf of the students.  Fisher, a graduate of the Homeland Security and Supply Chain Management, is from Apex, NC.

The Convocation speaker was Lexington Chief of Police Mark Barnard.  Chief Barnard earned a master’s degree in 1986 from EKU’s College of Justice and Safety and was honored as its Distinguished Alumni in 2014.

A reception for the graduates and their family and friends was held in the Stratton Building immediately following commencement
