Job Description:

One of California's largest oil producers is currently seeking Occupational Safety &

Health Summer Interns for 2015 in coastal and inland California locations including

Bakersfield and surrounding areas. Intern Job Summary:  Qualitative Health and

Exposure Assessment of operations personnel and development of sampling strategies Chemical, Physical, Biological, and Ergonomic source evaluation, sampling and analysis to determine potential exposures Human Factors/Ergonomics facility design development. Safety and Health Program Auditing and Incident Investigation.  Provide recommendations to improve safety and health. Emergency incident management program development. Intern Qualifications: Students pursuing a BS/MS in Occupational Safety and Health /EHS/Industrial Hygiene. 


Both Information Pizza Luncheon on 10/27 and interviews on 10/27 & 28 will be in Whitlock 468 Center for Career & Co-op.  Call 859-622-1296 to get on interview schedule after obtaining approval from Faculty Co-op Coordinator.


Pizza Information Session in Whitlock 468 from 12 noon - 1 PM on Monday, October 27th. Interviews will follow. Required 3.0 +GPA and US citizenship. Interviews will follow lunch on Monday, October 27th and on Tuesday morning October 28. Please see Center for Career & Co-op for interview sign up.
